Can anyone who has this comment on if this is better than Pipeline or the native "News" app?

I was curious about this app myself. I personally use BeReader and feel very happy with it. It syncs both ways with Google Reader and allows me to consume many articles in a short amount of time. It is not too visually pleasing, but functions very well. I wouldn't mind finding something that functions as well as BeReader, but is graphically more attractive. Newspile looks pretty good. I give it that. I would love to hear the opinions of actual users. Maybe time to head into the forums for a little research.

I have been using Xiamd's (sp?) News Catcher app - https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/49844 and so far I like it. I think I'm going to give this app a try as it syncs with Google Reader which News Catcher doesnt. Guess we will see which news app I like best.

Oh, as for Pipeline, unless it has been upgraded, I found it to be way too sensitive in terms of scrolling and accidentally launching articles when I didnt want to. I switched to News Catcher from it and couldnt have been more happier. But then again, I didnt stay with Pipeline too long so not sure if the interface was tweaked in any future upgrades to the app.

Does anyone know if you have to do anything to specific to get this app to work? I downloaded Newspile, entered my username/password for Google Reader and Newspile does not do anything - doesnt pull up my newsfeeds. Just says I have nothing there. Any help?

EDIT: Nevermind. Didnt know you had to press and hold on the word "unread" to pull it down which synchronizes your feeds. :) Silly me.

Works like a charm now :) Woohoo
