New webcast series - BlackBerry WebWorks for Tablet OS
Starting next Friday will be a new series of webcasts for the BlackBerry Tablet OS. The series will deal with BlackBerry WebWorks and help developers get started in developing for the BlackBerry PlayBook. The four part series will cover everything there is to know about delving into the BlackBerry WebWorks platform on the tablet OS.
With the power of WebWorks, developers with experience building in HTML5 and CSS3 can leverage all that knowledge and build for the BlackBerry platform, but there's an additional layer - the Javascript wrapper (or packager). With the Javascript wrapper, developers can take advantage of native BlackBerry APIs for full, true integration with BlackBerry's powerful, scalable and reliable platform.
The times and dates for the series are:
- Feb. 1, 2011: Getting Started (2:00 PM EST)
- Feb. 3, 2011: My First App (2:00 PM EST)
- Feb 8. 2011: BlackBerry PlayBook Integration (2:00 PM EST)
- Feb. 10, 2011: User Interface Guidelines and Best Practices (2:00 PM EST)

I was searching some stuff on QNX and I mean this OS is serious! I know CrackBerry nation is excited for what it will bring to BlackBerry but really this OS does so much more. It really is an OS that is out of this world. Check out the link and the video. Just amazing stuff!
