Hues - Threes & 2048 Powered up! is a new BlackBerry 10 puzzle game brought to us from ReFocus Labs - who we already know from the likes of Tilt, ARKick and Pastry Push. If you take a look in BlackBerry World you'll find a bunch of different games along the lines of Threes/2048, but ReFocus Labs have put there own twist on things and have done a darn fine job.

As usual, I'm not very good with puzzle games - hence no video with this one, but you'll have to trust me. The game is free to download so there really isn't a reason not to give it a go and as you'll see below it's available for all current BlackBerry 10 handsets.

Enjoy and feel free to post your highest scores in the comments. It won't be hard to beat mine!

Features include:

  • Intuitive swipe to slide input (Also QWERTY input for the Q devices)
  • 3 game modes: Timed Mode, Moves Mode, and Endless mode.
  • Power-ups - Increase time, increase moves, level up your Hues!
  • Adaptive GUI! Watch the GUI change as you unlock more Hues!
  • View hilarious character descriptions and details in 'The Clan'
  • Leaderboards System
  • Tweet scores
  • Optimized for the BlackBerry Z10, Z30, Z3, Q5, Q10 and P'9882

Congrats, you were first.

Roof has a problem, landlord never fixed it, now "first" to be blown away. Hope not. Bought a block of land recently, time to get out of that rental game...

"No Q10?" -> "Buy from Chen... "

If you get like three in a row, you can swipe up, sideways etc. and combine them, then a new colour or "hue" is created. That way more tiles disappear and more hues are created, until you run out of combinations or moves (in the free version).

"No Q10?" -> "Buy from Chen... "

Downloading now, as long as the 3G towers still give a signal... ;-)

Nothing to LOL about. Life in the tropics.

The music makes this game beautiful

Sent from a device that's not Android, and has a file browser.

Loving the game. I can only reach up to the violet hue on the 75 moves game play. Will try out the unlimited moves for $0.99.

Not a BIG games person, but I'm enjoying this game a lot - Thanks developer. I will be doing the in-app purchase to unlocked additional features.

Very cool game! Well designed app with crisp graphics and a cool soundtrack. My only issue is some fonts and buttons are a little too small on the Q10

Hi, We are issuing out an update in a few days with a custom Look and Feel for the Q10. Hope you can enjoy Hues as it is till then :)
