New PBA Bowling 3D from Concrete Software In Development Posted in Special Coverage on 10 Nov 2009 19:43 by Adam Zeis | OpenGL seems to be all the rage now that its out in the open (pun intended), and we got a quick look at Concrete Software's doings with one of their most popular games. PBA Bowling has been around for a while, but with this new technology it will be better than ever. Excelerated graphics and lighting make this game look amazing. It is currently in development with no word of when it will be available. Check out the video for a short (and we do mean short) preview of the game, as well as some technical details that went into the design. You can also pick up the original 2D PBA Bowling for $4.99 in the CrackBerry App Store.

first
awesome I cant wait
i have the original , will i get the upgrade free?
At best, the apps are still going to be light years behind what Apples has offered/created for the Iphone.
I just watched 2 minutes of this youtube video. While i'm happy the games seem to be improving....but this looks SO BORING. It seems INCREDIBLY slow and half the time you're just sitting around waiting for the ball to hit the pins. I, for one, will not be getting this game.
You are watching a demo - it is not the entire game, just a demo of how good the graphics can look using OpenGL and how smooth it can run. The full game is much more exciting - plus you don't actually wait for the ball to hit the pins, you spin the ball by tilting your BlackBerry device which it is hard to see this in the video.
