whoever buys this book is really a dummy. read the manual or go on the forum. do they make these books for opening up a refrigerator?

This is a cool idea. Not everybody is internet savvy enough to scorer crackberry.com. I know of a few people this would be very helpful for.

As someone who is about to take the plunge, I'd appreciate some discussion in the book about how to port data over from a Palm TX. For example, I have Palm Desktop Version 4.2 and I haven't found that release on the supported list which gives me heartburn.

Thanks

I've looked at it already in Barnes and Noble?

Look, my story I'm sure isn't a new one (when it comes to the Storm). I jumped to be one of the first to own one. I have since owned 3! First one had a SLOW OS. Second one had water accidentally dropped on in at a dinner table. No. 3 sits next to me as we speak.
Through many battery pulls, Cache Cleanings, and Event log wipes, this has been a roller coaster ride. But! I wouldn't trade this Storm in for any other "Smart Phone."
With apps like Poynt, Stitcher, etc. and BB Email and IM, those others don't come close to competing.
I've become an avid surfer of BB Forums and Blogs. You know what? Most Storm users I know either trade them in with spite or become big fans. There is no in between.
So Yes, I'd like to edit this book. Because I am no longer a "Dummy." The BB Storm is certainly NOT FOR DUMMIES!

Do we really need a book to tell you how to use a phone? RIM provides plenty of details online for free at there website. And there is nothing you can't find on Google.

I mean a if you need a book like this for a phone then maybe this phone is to complicated for you to have and maybe you should consider purchasing something different.

What is it paying $10.00 or whatever it ends up costings is going to tell you that:

1) can't be found at RIM's website
2) can't be Google'd
3) can't be found out my pressing the button.

Even for a very very few advanced functions...usually related to email, I can't see how you need a book for this. I saw one for the iPhone too. Phones aren't as complicated as a PC or PC software.
