We're back from BlackBerry Jam and the BlackBerry spirit is running through me. I'm all BB10'd up now and can't wait for what comes in the next few months. There were so many awesome devs in San Jose that I'm sure we'll see some amazing stuff for BlackBerry 10 devices. I really do love conferences and I'm pumped now more than ever for BlackBerry - the vibe this year was just amazing. For now however, I've rounded up some of the best new apps this week that are worth checking out, so keep reading to see what I found.
This one is kind of cheesy, but being a huge BTTF fan I just couldn't resist. The Biff Soundboard features over 100 Biff sound clips for your listening (and mildly annoying) pleasure. "Chicken", "Say hi to your mom for me" and "Butthead" are a few of my favorites. This one is $0.99 in BlackBerry App World.
Umbrlla is a simple Tumblr app for BlackBerry. With no OS 7 support from the official app, this one fills the void nicely. With it you can create posts, browse your dashboard, reblog posts, read messages and more. It has a straight up interface and seems to work pretty well overall. If you're looking for a good app to get your Tumblr on, this is one of the better options. $0.99 in App World.
This PlayBook app is totally fun and we'll keep you busy for hours on end. Groovy Beats is a virtual DJ mixer that lets you choose various sounds with which to create fun music tracks. The app provides clips for guitar, piano, drums, loops and many more. just tap and swipe to create some really groovy beats, right on your PlayBook. Best of all? It's free.
This game is an absolute blast. Available for the BlackBerry PlayBook, stick tennis gives you a great tennis experience with various courts and difficulty levels along the way. You just need to master a simple swipe motion and you're well on your way to being the next tennis champion. Free in App World.
