Neatly for BlackBerry 10 gets updated with a host of new treats

You may remember that recently while I was at BBJam Europe I got to sit down with the developer of Neatly - a BlackBerry 10 Twitter app. A nice update has just rolled out (version 1.0.5.1) which brings a whole host of improvements and fixes, most interestingly a new UI layout for the home screen - with a notification indicator. Notifications in the BlackBerry Hub are still restricted by Twitter themselves but the Neatly team are hoping to get the thumbs up from them in the near future.

New features in version 1.0.5.1 include:

  • Pocket and Instapaper integration - You can add From Tweet view
  • "99 new tweets' fix
  • New notification indicator when minimized
  • More auto-refresh intervals
  • Sharing Tweets from Tweet view
  • Copy Tweets from Tweet view
  • New home screen
  • New profile view
  • Bug fixes

Love the new layout! Keep the updates coming guys (and girls) and Twitter get up off the hub integration.

I hope this twitter app fairs better than some of the windows 8 twitter apps. Twitter does not seem to care about 3rd party developers, and they're really screwing a lot of applications over.

Any clue how to add Pocket integration from tweet view? I would like to open up a link in readability or a reader. Is anyone able to do that?

you can see a readLater icon at the tweet view screen if the tweet contain a link and if you log in for any service of these(pocket, instapaper) from the setting screen
