What could this book have that isn't already easily found on crackberry.com for free?!!

I'd rather have a book in hand while learning things than trying to read it on my BlackBerry screen & having to switch back & forth from the web page as I try things out.

sorry but FAIL!... nothing against books in general they're great starter sources but books can't be updated. As we all know RIM is always leaking new beta OS's and Apps with new features and changes that a book can't cover.

I personally would have created a BB Ebook Curve App that could be updated weekly or monthly with various changes and could over a lot more than a book could. Just an idea and feel free to use it. Something like that could be worth $3-5 and you could provide links to updates and troubleshooting advice all from within the app on the device.

Some complain about having to pay $10 for an app. Some complain about having to pay $4 for an upgrade. And now they complain about having to pay for a book?!?

This book could be a great idea. I don't know for sure, I haven't read it yet, but I'll be buying a copy to check it out and then I'll give it to a friend of mine who's more of a BlackBerry newbie than I.

As fast as upgrades come out, the book is already out of date. Plus, if people are too lazy to read the manual or this website, why would they read the book.
