Musical Clock and Weather

Awhile back I had a chance to review Musical Clock - Musical Alarms by Karvi Technologies. It's a handy little app that allows you to set multiple alarms on your device using either preset tones, songs stored on your SD card, and even streaming applications such as Pandora and Slacker. This update adds a weather dock which displays current conditions and the four day forecast. It also changes the name from Musical Clock - Musical Alarms to Musical Clock and Weather. So now when you turn to your nightstand to shut off the alarm you can choose to see your time and weather all in one place. Definitely a nice way to start your day. Musical Clock and Weather is $1.99 in BlackBerry App World and available for most devices running OS 5 and higher.

it baffles me why such a simple multiple alarm system is not standard..and yes folks i know of the calender multiple alarm method but 90+% of people will not use or hell even know about it.

Neat app. I just use the native alarm, but this would be a cool step up. $1.99-cool? No.

When the official OS update .1015 for my VZ Storm2 (9550) hosed the bedside mode display I started using this app.

It displays fine at night.

I hated that they removed bedside mode too! It was awesome, cant believe they took it away.

Does it still always run in the background like it used to? That really annoyed me and made me not wanna use it anymore. I liked it otherwise tho.

it annoys me no end that RIM refuse to add multiple alarm configurations as standard. I had this alarm app before and it was pretty good but it doesn't integrate nearly enough as the standard alarm but its definitely a good alternative especially with the weather dock now.

I have been unable to install upgrades for this application for a month or more - app world shows me there's an upgrade and I choose to install it, but nothing happens. Torch 9800 with most recent AT&T update. Anyone else??

Um, I take that back, now it's disappeared from my App World isntalled apps altogether. WTF. Have to go look into this.
