Aite, have to say "few months" wasn't too long compare to us waiting for an 9700 official release of os6.

It will support Canada to ? or this will be international ?

it looks like an promising app :)

it is available for download from http://getbb.movietickets.com

The zip code field for finding theaters only accepts numbers so it will not work for Canada. Which is odd as the web site works, and I would assume it would be accessing the same database.

MovieTickets.com was started in 2000 by Hollywood.com and AMC (American Multi-Cinema) Theatres as a way to get AMC into the online ticketing business. I was working for the theatre chain at the time.

Even today, it's still not easy to find online ticketing for AMC Theatres, but you can buy tickets to just about any of them through MovieTickets.com. As a bonus, MovieWatcher members pay no service charge.

An app should be quite nice.

This app is worthless! You can only purchase tickets at AMC locations and there's still a $1 service charge. I'll stick with the fandango app for now.

I get my tickets through Cineplex.com. No service charge. At $1 per ticket Movietickets.com's fee (which is the vehicle for Flixster and Poynt as well)is running almost 10% here in Canada. Ticket prices are high enough!

An awful app compared to others out there like Flixster...
