MockIt has easily become one of the first apps I install whenever I get a new BlackBerry, so imagine my surprise when I moved into a BlackBerry Passport and found out things were a little off due to the resolution of the device. Luckily, I didn't have to wait for long and I was back up and running with a beta build and now, with all the kinks worked out, OSBB Code Labs has released a Passport compatible build for everyone.
Aside from fixing MockIt so that it runs great on the Passport, you now have the option of using the Passport in your device mocks. It's been a while since we've featured MockIt, so here's a reminder of what it can do for you.
Mock It is a native application built and developed exclusively for BlackBerry 10! Use Mock It to create and share with style. With Mock It You can craft custom memes from an extensive catalog or mock up your screenshots to create high-res device renders. Have a few images you want to share at once? Use the picture frame section to combine multiple photo sets into a collage that you can seamlessly and easily distribute to your friends, family, or anyone else!
In the Photo Frame section there are 75+ different templates from which to choose including collages, display picture overlays and faux magazine cover mocks. Once you've narrowed it down you'll be brought into the editor where you can access the ever growing collection of stickers. Stickers are a great way to add a personal touch to your photo creations, and Mock It makes this easier than ever. Mock It has smooth animations throughout, supports 6 different color scheming options, and a favoriting system to keep your most used mocks and memes easily accessible.

MockIt is available as a free download, so everyone can use the app for the basic features. It's only when you start digging deeper into the app and looking for more advanced functions does it ask you to toss some money to developer and even then, the in-app purchases are 'cheap' for what you get in return. If you're running MockIt already, grab the update. If you've not tried MockIt before, now is a great time to give it a go.
