I'm impressed. If only you could charge someone's carrier rather than a credit card though. I don't have a credit card. =\
Anyway, very nicely done. I'm 100% impressed.
Just a thought, as I have no coverage where I am, but I am going to check it out as soon as I can, but in regards to your point, dose the App Store support pay-pal, as you can use pay-pal through pretty much bank account. Just a thought, as I know a lot of people use pay-pal for there internet purchases.
is there anyway to see the whole list of apps while on a laptop computer?
The layout is a big screwed up on the Curve (screen is not wide enough for the layout)
Hmm... Should be ok on the Curve. May want to check your browser settings - try enabling HTML Table Support if it's turned off.
If it doesn't help, you may want to send in a screenshot - info @ crackberry.com, along with one of your browser settings, and I'll forward onto the dev team to take a look at.
Still in *beta*, so thanks for the patience!
Looks good on my 8310 with no problems.
Headline says 25 apps for 9.95 - should say 9.95 EACH.
Still a good deal though.
The headline sounds like MacHeist where you get a bundle of apps for one super low prices & many free titles.
Oh well, still cool.

No misleading intended. Just tight on space and I hate seeing titles wrap to two lines. Didn't even think of your point of view. The screenshots show individual apps re-priced to $9.95. Seemed clear to me but can understand your point of view. Re-worked it and made it fit!
No problem Kevin,
I've had my eye on quite a few apps & have been waiting for the price to drop.
Now's my opportunity!
Thanks for the great deals!

Awwwww please! I think it's very deceptive to call a shortcut to a Web site an "APPLICATION"!
Now if you had integrated with BlackBerry Wallet like Future Shop so that you could save login info in Wallet and use it to log into the site, and use it to give Credit Card payment info, now THAT might qualify it as an application!
Hey Jerry, we never called it an "Application".
It's officially the "CrackBerry Mobile App Store."
App Store = a store where you can buy apps
Store App = an app installed on the device that is the store.
And in regards to the launcher, I refer to it repeatedly as being a launcher/shortcut in the post and also provide the straight url for the store.
Also, if you read the the App Store features list, you'll see that BlackBerry Wallet integration will be rolled out in the next few days.
No deception. Everything mentioned above was stated in the post - just gotta read it! Hope that clarifies things for you.
How can those of us waiting for the release of the Bold to join the Blackberry owners club get in on this sale?
I think the AppStore is almost prefect... the only thing I would look at as a welcoming addition is a Cart tab that takes you straight to your cart after backing out of the cart to go look at other apps, instead of having to add another app and remove it just to look at your cart...
Really like it! It makes browsing (and buying) apps. alot easier from device.
Thanks a lot! (read, saw, and understood everything)
Great job on the new App Store and the shortcut makes it an awesome experience. I think the only thing I would change would be to add more apps per page so we can browse thru them faster.
Works Great and looks great on my Sprint 8330.
Great job Kevin!
I just noticed that Empower Pro is labeled exactly the same as the standard version in the App Store, need to add "Pro" to the title to eliminate any confusion.
The only suggestion I'd have is a way for the app store to filter by compatability with the device model you're using.
If I download an app for my pearl, but for instance, get a new pearl through a warranty claim, can the app be transferred over to my new pin
yo kevin you should be working for rim them self this is a great idea
i like i seeing app store with phone now
but question the app store work for all blackberry
I love the store, great addition to the BlackBerry world!
Allow software bundles to be shown/bought through the store.
Maybe allow trials for the applications.
And one thing that would be nice is showing what other people have bought for a particular software... like Amazon's page where you see other things people have bought who are also considering the certain product you're looking at.
Thanks it for now.
Looks great
I was wondering if there is any thought to making a specific crackberry icon for the app store.
It shares the same icon with the web launcher.
I have them as different colors.
Just thought it would be a good idea if you updated/added something the crackberry icon with something that represents store or app

MobileHeist: Over 25 Top-Rated BB Apps Priced @ $9.95!!!
When I click the mobileheist link - it returns a result of 24 apps.
Is the search working properly?
I just want to say THANK YOU for making these apps available at such wallet-comfy prices. Thanks to the sale I was able to get the EXCELLENT Empower HTML e-mail viewer for just 10 bucks. It's worth the regular price, and is just an insane no-brainer at the reduced price of ten bucks. For an Alltel subscriber stuck with 4.3 for the time being, this makes an excellent tool for viewing e-mails the way they should be viewed. Thanks CB for throwing us a bone with this nice sale event!
It's a small thing- but having fields like credit card # and PIN and cellphone number and card verification #...fields that use only numbers...have then automatically input numbers like in the address book.
Also, I didn't realise you had to click on the mobileheist icon in order to get the discounts...and once I did I had to remove the app I'd added to get the discount. Maybe if the same app is added twice to the same shopping cart the lower priced one is automatically selected.
A stylistic suggestion is to not have the continue buttons black and then have them go all black when selected. It's just kind of hard on the eyes. Having them grey with the black border looks much better...not sure why those buttons are different.
Like the layout and the look other than that- got BBSmart Alarms Pro! Was dreading the necessity of this app but I'm glad I could get it cheaper!
Nice to see PayPal support coming. Few BB stores have it and I hate giving out my credit card info online.
I have tried to upload the store launcher but keep getting the following error code:
907 Invalid COD
I have a 8703e on Sprint
v 4.1.0.384
any reason for this?
I already sent in one message to your support e-mail address -
When I try to buy software, I get to the cart. It shows the items, but there's no way to get to "step 2", I get two options, I am a new customer or an existing one, with the radio button. No matter what I click, I can't proceed to the next step.
What am I doing wrong? I'm using a Bold. Thanks.
I have the same issue on my Curve 8330 on VZW!

I also have a 8330 VZW and there are 7 applications I would like to purchase and can't get past step 1. Is there a way to purchase online then install onto the blackberry. Very nice if I can take advantage of it
I have a VZ 8330. I signed up as a new member even though i have a login. It seemed to work for me. Nice thing the purchases did show up in my purchases under my account.
I think it would be useful if there were a search box on each page at the top (under the banner) and at the bottom (above the banner). Currently, the search function is only accessible via a link at the top and the bottom which takes you to a separate "search" page.
If you do this, the link leading to the separate search page can be removed in its entirety.
My 2 cents.
This is a great idea and very handy. Much faster than the old way; however, why isn't Splashshopper on sale. Waaaaaaaaaa!!!! Now THAT is a great application. I just don't want to spend $30 for it!! I think I few more good teasers in there would have been nice--and yes something I would want to buy, natch. LOL
Upon check out - it stayed in the same Step (Step 1) no matter what. Obviously I am doing something wrong.
I wonder is it possible for us to order the sale items on the website and then download them or do OTA. I think it is great to have an application right on the BB, but I cannot get it to work and I guess some people have some problems. For now maybe that is a good compromise?
Hey RealtorPete,
Nope - this promo is only via the App Store on the mobile device.
Devs are working to address any last remaining tech issues very quickly. They'll be fixed soon so you'll have time to take advantage of them even before the MobileHeist is over.
I have chosen several Applications from the Mobileheist and cannot get to Step 2 after I load my credit card info.
Picked up MiuTunes at a huge discount. Awesome!
Please Read if Experiencing Any Difficulties
It looks like our 99.6% confidence level on the *Beta* CrackBerry Mobile App Store is holding solid. MOST people are installing the launcher, browsing the store and checking out without issue, but there are a few people (some comments above) who are experiencing issues with installing the launcher/and or the checkout process on the store.
We're looking for your help to isolate any issues. If you are experiencing any issues, please respond to this blog post with

I cannot get the "BUY" button to work. I click and get an error that the connection was refused www.mobihand.com:443.
Am I doing something wrong?
I paid $9.95 and the App won't activate. I entered the Activation Code and it tells me it's invalid. "It" gave me the 5-digit Code, so it should work, but it doesn't. So now I'm out about $10 bucks. And you get rich.
It's too bad we have to do this via the BB instead of our desktops...what a pain. And for what?
Hey cbmember,
That's why we have customer and technical support. Always aiming for things to be a smooth process (hence the undertaking of this mobile store - it is an easier and more streamlined way to shop and everything is moving to on device purchasing), but that's not always the case.
As I made note in the comment above and in the orginal blog post, we're in beta with the new app store here. Seems to be working great for almost everyone, but little things like this can pop up. Would be great if you could help us out. See the note above in regards to contacting Sebastian.
Regarding your order, please email customersupport@mobihand.com (include your name/email/order #/issue) and they will help you out. Not sure what exactly glitched was/is in this case but it will get sorted. Nobody's ever out to just take your money. We always strive for happy customers.
Thanks for the patience!
How did you get the Activation code? I was never sent one when I purchased my App.
Dang! all these goodies and I haven't even got a Blackberry yet!!
Will Paypal be supported before the end of the Mobilheist deals? Would be appreciated. BTW worked great on an 8310 Rogers' as carrier.
THAT COOL IMMA HAVE TO GET SOME APPS
When trying to purchase it requests a promo code. What is it?
Thanks,
Jeff
I have emailed Sebastian and waiting for a reply. I am sure this issue will be resovled by the 29th, but if not will there be some sort of extension. Thanks
