I think, comparing last week's video and this one, her hands are a lot less busy.

Merging mobile and computer OSs may be good for the average consumer who mostly uses e-mail and the internet, and does some gaming. It looks bad for people who need to use a computer for work, especially for those of us in the advertising and creative community. I wait to see how Adobe responds to these changes.

Smartphones are beginning to be more generic to the general public. Style is one thing, and there is a cache for a certain piece of fruit, but what will wow or sway consumers in the future is killer apps. Get a must-have piece of software on a smartphone, and people will flock to your platform.

Ashley, good report. Yes, as phones get more powerful, it's natural that their user interface will converge and it's a good thing, as many of us use our phones as work-oriented devices and not as toys. You are an attractive girl but the pigtails and geeky t-shirt don't do anything for you - your natural hair looks much nicer. Also, whomever edits this Monday brief should put some more graceful transitions between your clips so the video doesn't jump around so much. I enjoy your reporting and look forward to the next brief. Thanks!
