Everyone loves a free BlackBerry 10 game but it's not that often that a free awesome one crops up. It has now in the form of Metegol which is a must have download. It's currently only available for the BlackBerry Z10 at the time of writing and whether you like football or not this one will have you addicted.
The concept is relatively simple - you control four football (soccer) players who will run up the field. As opponents approach you must tap the screen to pass the ball between your players. If you run into an opponent while you have the ball it's game over.
As you progress through the levels you'll unlock a couple of other modes but it's the main game that I love. As you will see in the video - in some levels you will be able to move two of your players further up the field - allowing you to pass the ball forward to them. Another nice twist in the game is that sometimes two of your team will run towards you which will let you pass to them and they will perform a header back to you.
Once you reach the end of the field you will need to avoid the goalkeeper and then shoot the ball into the net for a goal. It can get pretty manic but its truly a sweet game.
The graphics and sound effects are stunning, combined with wonderfully smooth game play. If you have a Z10 and don't download Metegol you must be bonkers!
