MediaFire releases official BlackBerry 10 cloud storage and backup app

While most folks are aware of the native Dropbox, Box and OneDrive clients for BlackBerry 10, MediaFire have now released their own official BlackBerry 10 app as well that allows you to connect to MediaFire with ease. The native app is similar to the paid FireBall ball app that was previously available on BlackBerry World but has now seemingly been removed and replaced by this free solution.

MediaFire lets you easily upload all your files - like your photos, videos, music, and documents - and access them from anywhere with your BlackBerry device or on the web. Share files and images with all of your friends and upload them only once. Use folders to easily share groups of files or create galleries for all your images. Keep frequently used files online for easy access from any computer with an internet connection.

Securely store, organize, and share all your media through your Blackberry. MediaFire keeps all your photos, videos, reading material, work docs, spreadsheets, presentations, and even your homework in your pocket, ready for you to view or share anytime. All your files will always be safe in your MediaFire account - no matter what happens to your device

When it comes to storage, MediaFire offers a few tiers starting with their free one set at 10GB. From there, you can increase your limits using paid options such as 1TB (1000 GB) for $3.79/month or up to 100TB $39.99/month. In any case, the app is free to download so if you're looking for some additional cloud storage, it's a great place to start. And stay tuned, we just might have some free one year / 1TB subscriptions to give away.
