If you're not up to par with your Major League Baseball history, you might not know the name Joe Carter. And if not, you should! He's best known for his amazing walk-off home run that gave the Toronto Blue Jays the 1993 World Series Victory. Suffice to say he is a Toronto hero, which is where the BlackBerry 7 Fan Night was held and Joe was on hand at the event to talk BlackBerry! Joe was in heavy demand all night, but I managed to grab a couple minutes of his time. Check out the video above - he is an uber cool guy.  Thanks for the time Joe!

As somebody that grew up in Toronto, I don't remember too much significant in my life time in the realm of sports, but I remember that Home Run!

You should have asked him what his CrackBerry handle was!

I met him at the event too - and Kevin which was also pretty cool - one of the most awesome parts of this video though is that I am the guy standing with his right shoulder/ back to the camera over Joe Carter's shoulder talking to my friend Shannon, the girl in the pink dress, the entire video. Yay! I'm on CrackBerry!!!

Bill Mazeroski of the Pirates had the first walk off home run in World Series history that beat the Yankees in 1960.

Bill did it better...against a better team..
