magicIcon

Tired of using themes to change up the look of your icons? With magicIcon you won't have the need. This cool app allows you to easily change up some system and 3rd party application icons with any picture of your choice. Fire up magicIcon, pick the application, choose any BlackBerry supported image and you're done. The image will take the place of the application icon, so you can customize to your hearts content. This works with both the standard and custom themes, and the icons stay put after a reset, so you don't have to worry about losing everything when you reboot. magicIcon is available for $1.99 in the CrackBerry App Store until Ocotber 16th.

not compatible with my 8330 :( I really wanted this app too. I am into total customization of anything I can! LOL

Here are the list of system apps that can be changed. On
some OSes you can not change the Browser but others you can.

BlackBerry Messager
Browser
Calendar
Calculator
Camera
Contacts
Clock
Global Search
Help
Maps
Memo
Options
Password Keeper
Setup Wizard
Task
Video Recorder
Voicenote Recorder

and almost all 3rd party apps like the WordToGo, SlideShow

I really would have liked the option to apply a personal icon pic to our created folders, not only the actual Apps. :(

you got the app and tried to change the folders? or are you just presuming you can't because they don't say you can?

Wondering if it supports .gif transparencys.
Sounds like a nifty little app- customizing icons is something I've always missed on my Blackberry.

Wondering if it supports .gif transparencys. From the looks of the "Bartman" icon, it apprears that it might.

Woe unto me, and misery untold! I found out that you need at least 4.7 or higher to use this program. Needless to say I'm disappointed, but I'm going to say it anyway...I'm disappointed.

Hi, I just tried the trial version, which seems like the full app with 9 tries. Anyone know if the full versionn allows e-mail icon to be changed? that would make my day!

For myself, I changed the Browser Icon, but it still show the original one on the main screen, if I open the quick application change, the browser Icon is different.
