We took a first look at Magic4Square recently and now, for those who were interested in it, it's available to download from BlackBerry World. If you're a frequent Foursquare user, you'll want to take a look at this app. It allows you to automatically check in to your favorite venues. There are a few spots I visit almost daily and Magic4Square allows me to check in without even thinking about it now. It's a pretty sweet app for any Foursquare user.
Magic4Square is free to download. This allows you to save up to 4 locations. There are, however, more features that can be unlocked via an in-app purchase. These features include the ability to:
- store more than four check-ins
- disable check-in messages
- modify check-in messages
- view your check-in history
- import database from backup
- export your check-in list
- import check-in list from yourself and other people!
Unlocking these features will cost you $1.99. Either way, I highly recommend Magic4Square to those who regularly use Foursquare. It really is quite a useful app. One thing to note is that the app has to run as an Active Frame for it to work.
