First up - this game is awesome! I've played various bow and arrow games over the years - most of which have not been great, but Longbow for BlackBerry 10 is without doubt the best of the bunch.
Controlling your longbow is straight forward. You can use the touch screen to pan your bow to get set up for the shot. At the bottom right of the screen is an icon which you press to pull back the bow string. Release the icon and off the arrow goes.
And it isn't just a case of shooting targets. There are three different games within the game. These are:
- Village Mode: Here you'll find the standard archery game. However not only does the target move further and further away as you progress, but you need to take into account the wind speed which is displayed at the top left of the display. It takes some real practice as once the target is a fair distance from you you'll need to aim above it to allow for its travelling time.
- Castle Mode: Here you have 90 seconds to shoot as many pop-up targets as possible. Some are big and some are small. They'll not only be right infront of you but also on the balcony and turrets.
- Horse Archery Mode: Here you are riding a horse and it's just a case of shooting the barrels as you gallop through the countryside. Like the previous two modes this one is all about getting the best score possible.
The graphics are quite stunning with Longbow and having the three games rolled into one gives you some nice variety. The game is priced at £1.50/$1.99 and in my opinion that's great value for money. Longbow is currently only available for the BlackBerry Z10 but fingers crossed the other devices will get it soon.

Race your way to top with Top Speed: Drag & Fast Racing
While there may be quite a few car racing games available in the storefront, there is always room for one more, at least in my opinion.
