If you follow Linkin Park on Facebook or Twitter you may have already caught this one but if not now is your chance to win a autographed Linkin Park Porsche Design P'9982 BlackBerry. As part of the Music for Relief organization, Linkin Park and several other bands such as Alice in Chains, Green Day, The Offspring and more are taking part in an online auction and concert to raise funds for typhoon Haiyan relief in the Philippines.

In addition to the auction and to help spread the word, Linkin Park is giving away a Porsche Design P'9982 BlackBerry signed by the band. Simply spread the word on Facebook or Twitter about the auction for the Philippines and the Porsche Design BlackBerry could be yours. On top of your chance to win, the auction itself is home to quite a few awesome products and right now, there's a Porsche Design P'9982 BlackBerry with a current bid just over $800.

If need something a bit more, how about attending the Porsche Design Fall/Winter 2014 Runway Show at New York Fashion Week with Chester Bennington of Linkin Park? It's set at just over $2,000 on the auction site. Personally, I'm trying for the Limited Edition Metallica vinyl box set and drum head signed by the band.

The Facebook link doesn't work. :( Maybe it detects that I'm in Canada. Didn't read down to see the fine print. That sucks.

would be pretty cool linkin park was my fave band for so many years loved their music and shanoda as the best rapper/writer for me.

This is a very nice step. Too sad, the PromoJam on Facebook wants permissions for my friendlist.
Too sad, i will NOT count in for that reason.

So true. I wonder if it's still counted as an entry if you just tweet what it says? I do not like the idea of giving something named PromoJam permission to any of my accounts

Well it's technically Linkin Park, Porche and Philippines Relief...but yeah its got Blackberry. so doesn't hurt us..does it ;-)

Whoa... Linkin Park giving love to the Porsche Design phone while also raising money for the Philippines relief effort. Impressive!

They could've chosen to give away a gold iPhone 5s, Note 3, or that rare gold HTC One....but instead they chose a BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982. :)

The P'9982 just screams exclusivity, but there is hundreds of thousands, if not millions of standard gold iPhones around, I guesstimate.

My name is Prem, I'm using BBM ... from my QuZe10 ...whatarhyme...

From the PromoJam rules:

"ELIGIBILITY: From the official time and date of the start of the Sweepstakes Period through the final date of prize fulfillment, you must be a lawful permanent U.S. citizen and resident residing in the [50 United States or the District of Columbia.] You must also be [18] years of age or older as of the official time and date of the start of the Sweepstakes Period. Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, and all other U.S. territories and possessions and where restricted or prohibited by law."

So if you're not in the USA, it's definately a worthy cause, however no chance of a BB win for us.

Every band should give up their wages for six months towards those disaster areas. That would be a real commitment. Not this phone thing.

He guys would someone please get ahold of a geek to fix the broken link in the "post to win a BlackBerry P 9982 BlackBerry phone" ad. The link doesn't work, it's bumming a lot of peeps out and it's bad PR for the band, Crackberry & BlackBerry as well!!!!!!

Metallica does indeed rule! Would love that box set. Tried to get an AoF box but the site crapped itself 10 minutes after they went on sale and I missed out. Then 2 weeks later missed out on some etched 'Tallica glasses. Ffffffffaaaaarrrrr...

As nice as this sounds - I will not grant these apps the - manifold - permissions they asked for. Rather fork over the cash and buy the P'9982 at PD.

it's crazy.. because what do you do if you win it? do you take it out and use it or do you leave it on the shelf..

A shout out "Thank You" and my utter respect to one of my favorite bands for doing this. My orgins is native Malaysian specifically East Malaysia, so im ultra sensitive to all those natural disasters happening in those areas. Anybody remember Banda Aceh?

Peace

Blackberry, my proverbial middle finger

I hope the autographs are on the inside of the battery door to be able to preserve them, and be able to use the phone with no worries.

Kudos to Linkin Park, one of my favourite if not one of my favourite bands...too bad its not extended to the Caribbean...Good work however...

The link is jacked, but I'd surely love to have one of these phones. It'd be the greatest phone ever! Great band, great phone, great cause! Hook it up crackberry.com!

I don't get this porche design, I'd have to see it and feel it, from all then pics I've seen it's one ugly phone.

Currently the bid is over $1,500. How do I know? It's my brothers bid and his wife is not happy with him. Go bidding!
