Leave It On

If you've ever wanted to tweak your backlight settings for any apps like Google Maps, or just needed to leave the backlight on, Leave It On is your solution. The simple app lets you choose when and for how long to leave the backlight on for any application. You can set the light on while charging or plugged in via USB, or have it light up when messages come in. Features include:

  • Leave the backlight on automatically for up to 8 applications. Just launch the application and Leave It On will automatically keep the backlight on for you.
  • Keep the backlight on while charging, through USB, car charger or regular charger.
  • Low battery setting. Disable the backlight from staying on when the battery falls below a certain percent (configurable)
  • Set how long to keep the backlight on for, settings from 1 minute to 2 hours or never.
  • System wide "Leave It On" menu option so you can leave the backlight on at the click of a button
  • Turn on screen when a new SMS or Email arrives

This application is a simple application that in my opinion should be standard on the OS. it is very useful especially when reading long emails and documents. Although I have Verizon Navigator which leaves the screen on this would help with Google Maps and other mapping websites.

Great App! The screen lighting up for texts was the one thing I've missed since I switched from my Blackjack II to BlackBerry

One of my biggest pet peeves is how BB doesnt light up when you get a text or email. I have BB light, but i cant configure the length of light depending on what was received... so this could be great since i hate not knowing what the red blinky light really stands for. now for SMS i can have the light be on longer!

I was just trying to find out if the BlackBerry 9700 had that ability. I guess someone already thought of that too! Wicked.

Drives me crazy when the light keeps going out. This would help - enter me for "leave it on"

This would be a great app to have. Just hate when the screen dims when you are reading emails and such. Thank you for the opportunity

I would love to have this app, as I constantly miss SMS's for the reason that the backlight does not turn on when I receive an SMS.

I don't need a tilt lock program because it's incorporated in QuickLaunch, but this is pretty cool. Give me, please.

Blackberry is cool. This app would make it even better. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...Pick me!! Thanks!

Just like McDonald's i'm lovin' this app!! It makes me feel more popular when I see my phone light up during a text/email.

I would love to win this for my bling-berry! :)

I hate when my backlight turns off mid browsing. Its annoying. If this is the solution then I'd love a free copy yo.
