Any guesses what the prices on the new phones will look like? VZW still has the Storm 2 on their website for $199 w/2 yr contract! Seriously????
Joe257 Aug 2, 2011 at 9:24 pm
I bet it all sold out a couple of years ago :) I think they're paying Verizon to market the Storm 2, but no one would be buying it. RIM just had Verizon on hold.
I really don't know why RIM waited so long to replace the Storm 2. Is it any wonder they're losing market share? There aren't any bloody devices to buy!

sweet... now if you guys could somehow get the pricing information too that would be great!... ;)
SSMiKe06 Aug 3, 2011 at 5:22 am
I presume it will be 599.95$ with no contract.

Well! This has some good bit of info on the launch dates for the BB7 devices. Note the SKU Opening date. August 3rd is Wednesday, which aligns nicely with the BB7 event RIM has planned. Also the TMo's release date of August 31 is their general availability date. BES customers will be able to buy the 9900 two weeks earlier.
