Just like the BlackBerry Bold 9900, the BlackBerry Torch 9810 is now seeing a leaked version of OS 7.1.0.190. If you're looking to get you're device upgraded, now is as good a time as any. Just keep in mind it's a leaked build, back up your data and such before you load this one up. And don't forget to drop by the CrackBerry forums and let  us know how things are working.

*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). *

Leaked OS 7.1.0.190 for the BlackBerry Torch 9810

It would be nice you could tell us which carrier it is for. If it's T-Mobile, does it have UMA and Hotspot.

When I turned it on, it said "Activation Required. Mobile Hotspot not activated on your account. Please call customer service." It won't let me use mobile hotspot. :-(

just spent the last 3 hours getting this on my BB, and when I try it out it says that Mobile Hotspot is not activated on my account with AT&T, any way around this???

I installed this on my Torch 9810 from my previous OS7.0.0.585 and have been crossing my fingers hoping an OS like this would able me to use the @Mobile Hotspot feature, which in fact this leaked release, I can confidently tell you this is by far one of the best (if not the best) OS leak for Blackberry Torch 9810.
I am still testing compatibility regarding themes, and third-party applications, but so far, it's been a high five across the BB board.
Also note I am from Canada, so every carrier my have different rules&plans regarding Mobile Hotspot.
Someone here was asking why their Torch 9810 says Activation required I believe someone has posted on the 9900 thread that they have figured out a way to bypass.
Anyways I have fallen in love with my Torch 9810 all over again!!
Note:I own both Torch 9810/Bold 9900 :D

WOW! Amazing OS, using it on Etisalat 3G in Dubai, but I still can't get Hotspot to work :s help? Anyone?

Hi everyone, I installed it and it seems to working smoothly. However, my inbox is behaving strangely...

If I have the "Display Style" set to "Group by Subject", I do not see any new emails in my inbox. They appear in the notification area on the home screen, and I can open them from there, but if I go to the inbox directly, they are missing. I can search and find them, but not see them by default.

If I switch to "Single Messages" Display Style, they magically appear!

Anyone else with this problem? Know how to resolve? I would love some help.

Thanks.

P.S. Mobile Hotspot works (On TELUS) but it warned me of data charges. Anyone know if Telus will charge extra for hotspot?

has anyone noticed the touchscreen becoming unresponsive every few seconds? Also, i have corporate unlimited tethering and even called att who said mobile hotspot is enabled but still get the activation error. Both issues are super annoying but im just looking for a fix.

Can someone tell me how to install this update from a mac??? this has an .exe file that is not compatible with macs..help!!!!

I'm used to downloading and installing os updates, but I got this this monring and installed it on my desktop (PC), but it won't update on the desktop manager or apploader.... What am I doing wrong? I hate to sound like a noob after installing so many of the previous updates (leaked or official)
