Leaked OS for the BlackBerry Torch 9810

By Michelle Haag on 22 Aug 2011 04:57 pm EDT

BlackBerry OS7

If you're proudly rocking a brand new BlackBerry Torch 9810 you might want to grab your USB cable and give OS a try. While we're not exactly sure what has changed in this update, it's fresh and new so you might want to check it out. As always, make sure you back up your data first and heed the warning below.

*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). *

Leaked OS for the BlackBerry Torch 9810

This couldn't have leaked yesterday? I'm not liking the upgrade process on os 7, it seems to screw up my email accounts and application setting when I do it

I'm tired of all these Leaks for OS on phones dat haven't even hit the U.S. market yet, How can you leak a OS7 for phones that haven't been sold yet, this is what you call mixed priorities. Sell me a PHONE FIRST then leak the OS for the phone!!!

does being american mean you have no patience or tolerance? patience = waiting for new bb7 devices because it is abundantly clear the rest of the world is getting new blackberry's before your country, probably due to your countries newly downgraded credit rating. tolerance = tolerating canada and the rest of the world as booming and emerging markets.

good day

same here, in Canada I've been using the 9810 and 9900 for almost 2 weeks and the 9860 is available today with Rogers, keep on leaking the OS

What little town was this that i have to travel to Cause none of the main carriers( verzion, at&t, t-mobile, sprint) that I know have any these phones yet

Try again buddy every one of the os 7 phones has been released by a US carrier so far, Sprint has the 9850 and 9930, At&T has the 9810

No updates for 9900. Latest official release is (stable)
Highest leaked version is (rather buggy)

Wow....everyone quit crying. Love to hear from someone that downloaded the new OS and what changes if any are there? Also, did anyone notice how if you change your wallpaper it only fits on the left side of the screen.

Hey all,
I might thing this Update is just for small issues on writing i mean miss spelling, other then that i don't see any new changes for last Update.
Ill keep an eye on my battery life and browser.

I've tried getting this installed twice and and haven't had any luck whatsoever. I only found one vendor file (Some people said there were multiple), deleted it, and yet unlike every other install I've done without any issues, this one eludes me.

Tips anyone?
