Well, after seeing other devices get updated to .448, I guess the BlackBerry Torch had to have get it as well. Good thing, considering OS 6.0.0.337 is pretty old as of now. Torch users give 6.0.0.448 a go, be sure to drop a comment and let us know how it is. As always, use caution when installing a leaked OS.
*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS).

Hopefully this fixes the on screen keyboard glitch while on the browser that a few of us have experienced.
I'll give it a go when I get home, depending on the feed back.

Certainly hope this release is stable enough for AT&T to release it officially. Can't update on my Mac, and would love for it to drop.
AjStone Jan 28, 2011 at 2:12 pm
Does anybody know if it fixes the icons disappearing from Favorites tab issue?
deeptali Jan 28, 2011 at 3:48 pm
WellOS loading is Very fast and browser speed has improved it seems. What ever mentioned earlier is there of course like Book marks etc.
IsaacKendall Jan 28, 2011 at 4:01 pm
It appears that the Gmail icon issue has gone away with this build.
In previous builds if you have multiple Gmail accounts setup through BIS and you selectively hide on or more of the account icons, ALL of the icons hide themselves.
In this build I've hidden 2 of the 5 GMail accounts and the 3 I want to see are still visible. For me that makes this build the winner-winner-chicken-dinner.

My browser issue with holding links for new tabs is FIXED!!!!!
WhoooT! I was 2 releases behind becuase of this issue. This was my only issue with the phone and now I'm good to go.
Chas71 Jan 28, 2011 at 6:45 pm
No Problems as of yet. It did increase my application memory back up to 294.1 from 285. As far as I'm concerned that's a plus.
