Leaked OS 6.0.0.443 for the BlackBerry Bold 9650

9650 BB6 leak

It's not often that OS leaks go backwards in numbers but that's seemingly what happened here. If you've not been satisfied with the 6.0.0.446 then 6.0.0.443 might be worth -- downgrading to. Sounds weird right?! Remember to back up your data before you load this up. Also be sure to drop comments letting us know how it all turns out for ya's!

about to load it now.. hope it works better than .466, with the green draft sms error, and error message at bootup!

I have a 9630 and I still get jealous when I see 6.0 for 9650. I was so close. All the new hires where I work get 9650s now.

Is the memory leak addressed by this new leak? What is normally the average memory left if you use OS 6? I was on OS 6 for a few weeks and the memory leak is terrible that I downgraded to OS 5. OS 5 I'm on 82 Mb remaining, OS 6 I only have 30 Mb left.

Which blackberry do you have? That's a horribly low amount of memory for a 9650, are you talking about application storage or system memory? Either way, application storage on OS6 I have 310mb with 5 or 6 different apps on it, and system memory is always between 200-250mb at least, you have 9700 levels of available memory

thats not even am update tho i have a higher update but how is it that most blackberrys are on .461 but then the pearl is still on .424 and havent had an update since... tell me plz then i will agree with u

There's nothing to agree with, you are actually needlessly posting this every where and in threads that have nothing to do with the pearl...that really is an update, and official version too! You act like all the different versions for each different phone need to be updated and on the same build at the same time....this is actually a downgrade from the last leak for the 9650, no one is whining about it only being .443 instead of the .461 that you think all the phones need to be on, try being patient! I'm sure some day there will be another pearl update thread that you can complain in....until then just be happy you even have os6, some phones don't even get that much!

When I open the App loader, this is showing up as 6.0.0.466. Anyone else notice this?

Upgraded to 6 and I thought it was horrible. Small things that made a huge negative experience for me was when I start typing a contacts name I actually have to scroll down to select the contact in order to make a call. Also when browsing I couldn't get column view to work and couldn't press spacebar to scroll down or "t" to go back to the top of the page. I think os 6 needs a lot of fixes for the qwerty bb's. I also don't think the browsing is faster or better. Is there something I'm missing to make the experience better? In the meantime its os 5 all the way for me with os 6 theme of course lol.

Press the green phone button so the "phone" screen opens, and if you type enough letters of the contact your searching for it auto highlights it, then just press down on the trackpad or the green phone button again....

For the browser shortcuts, you just go into the options and enable keyboard shortcuts...

There's no column view, they changed it to "zoom and wrap text"! I think the browser is way better, but that personal preference! There's some sites that os5 wouldn't display, or it would display only a very limited mobile version, that os6 will display the entire site (except flash of course)! I also feel its faster on the 3g network here and on my wifi, plus the multiple tabs is a great feature that I always felt os5 needed! Os6 works for me, there's not one thing I miss about os5

Actually this leak fixed the SMS issue with version .466 and OS is running much snappier! I would definitely recommend downgrading if you have .466 loaded...

.443 has fixed the sms problem, is much more smooth with the interface. If you are running on .466, i would strongly recommend you to downgrade to .443.
