Leaked: OS 6.0.0.380 for the BlackBerry Curve 9300

Seems like history repeats itself when it comes to OS leaks. Just like last time a 9700 OS leak dropped, we now have the exact same OS for the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300. Again, back up your data folks and let us know how this one works out for you all. Enjoy!
*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). *

Downloading, let's see how different it is from .358.
Wonder when Shrink-OS is gonna work with OS6 files.

Seems just a little bit quicker that .358, still have the problem where the selection highlight will disappear when scrolling through a menu longer than the screen, most noticeable in smrtguard and the menu that comes up when you click the time on the main screen

Does anyone know if Tmobile users still have to delete those two _theme files?

How long will it take before there is an official release?
big_time2 Dec 7, 2010 at 6:19 pm
Too long. This is the third (I believe) leak in the past two months, so I highly doubt an official release will be coming out any time soon. Download this while you can.

More quicker, youtube icon finally works, still have the problem with scrolling the menu options but it's ok, SOCIAL FEEDS, now work with facebook and that's great!! Easy to upgrade without problems... better quality on call and battery still charged 'till the upgrade with 3G so.. Let's test this baby!!

-Bigger application area for us
-Scrolling issues (with SMS and BBM) are still here
-One of the most important problem for me is unfunctional trackpad-click within applications (Ubertwitter-GMaps) and now it's not a problem :) Worked like a charm. That's enough for me to upgrade from .358

What's the difference between .344 and .380? Is it worth upgrading from the .344 to the .380?
Alden2006 Dec 8, 2010 at 3:40 am
The first fix I see is the T-Mobile Themes work. You dont have to delete them on the new .380 version.

In SMS or emails, can you see the cursor in this new version?
Nwanu Dec 8, 2010 at 1:21 pm
Yes, the only "issues" I have are the cursor sometimes disappearing when bringing down the bar on the homescreen and avatar pictures in Ubertwitter not scrolling! I like it very much as it's very stable for me!
