BlackBerry Pearl 3G

And the BlackBerry 6 love continues. OS for the BlackBerry Pearl 3G has now popped up and is available for download. Just like the other releases today, this one is not official in any way so be sure to back up all your data if you device to load it up. Of course, be sure to share all your findings in the comments and in the CrackBerry forums. Big shout out to.. well, they know who they are ;)

*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). *

Omg today is great first 9700 and then curve 3G and now Pearl woo whoo

Downloading now, will report back...

I'm really interested to see how this compares to the 9700 install, both performance and initial free memory.

Where's 9800 leaked? Torch build is way behind!!!!

is there anymore update for tour 9630?

Love the different colors great idea

As much as it's probably wrong to admit, I feel a sense of vengeance as owners of the Bold 9700, Curve 3G and Pearl 3G enjoy latest/greatest versions of OS 6 and 9650 users sit & spin on their old OS 6 versions ;-).

There is only one reason why the OS 6.0 was brought upon us today. Chuck Norris forced RIM to give it to us.

well a new dawn is upon us

has anyone installed it yet? how does it run? any issues?

it runs at least as fast as os 5 and looks much better! no problems yet, everything is simply better, even signal strength..

I downloaded it...ran the file...deleted the vendor xml and installed it with the desktop manager and it works perfectly. I am really impressed with the changes and it runs perfect...I have had no issues.

I have 55.8MB of free space on the device.

please could you be so kind as to e-mail the OS 6 to moi

Connection is very slow - Thanks

I broke my pearl 3g like 2 hours ago too!! Nooooo!!! Screen cracked.

Sounds like it's time to go on eBay and purchase a new housing (I'm assuming that that's what you broke, if it's the actual screen, you should be abme to replace it too). Just keep in mind that there's a warranty sticker on one of the screws. I've heard that if you're careful enough removing it, you can put it back in place, and keep your warranty ;-)

my Connection is extremely slow,
could some1 help me out with the OS
