Leaked: OS 6.0.0.212 for the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330

And now that device has gone official, there is already a leaked OS waiting for everyone. As advertised in the press release, the BlackBerry Curve 3G (9330) is BlackBerry 6 capable but, it's up to Verizon to certify the release for their network. This time though, we already have BlackBerry 6 available for those who are actually going to be picking up the device. For those keeping track, that's two devices out there that have BlackBerry 6 available to them. The two being, the BlackBerry Torch and now the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330. Still no 9700 or 9650 leak, yet.

I cannot be mroe fed up with all the leaks and updates for the Torch, and now THIS??? What happened to OS6 for my so-called OS6 ready 9650??? This is beyond wack...smh!

Cool story bro. Why are you the only one who blogs here without a real name on their posts?

Anyways, pretty nice that two devices no one has, wants or cares about (except this site and RIM) the Torch/Curve 3G are getting all these OS 6 builds. While the two most used industry professional standard-typeish devices 9700/9650 are being totally left in the fucking dark.

Those who own this device deserve to get OS6. Just looked at upgrading to either this or the 9700. This phone build is crap, keyboard it poor quality. I chose the 9700 and even with it not having a OS6 leak yet, still dont regret it

AHAHAHAHAHAHA.... damn y'all are too funny but i do feel the same way. I'm tired of waiting for OS 6 for my 9700. Like C'mon RIM WTF? I been keeping up with all these leaks and updates and what not and no OS?? I'm tellin y'all this ish gone drop when Santa is ready to come see us... lmao... SMH

so my 9700 was all messed up so I had to call... and it was some blackberry tech guy from Colorado who seemed to be a person who was just as into bb... and he told me that we should be seeing the os6 alot sooner than we think.. so fingers crossed!! hopefully his soon was real soon

Unless they find a way to significantly reduce the size of OS 6 for the 9700, I'm nearly positive I'm going to install it, have no room for any of my apps, and down-grade right back to OS 5. Just look at the Bold 9000 with OS 5 for anyone who's tried it. It's a nightmare and a half as soon as you install 1 or two fairly small apps :-o For anyone not using additional apps on their BB, it might work OK. For the rest of us though, not seeing how it would work out in our favor anyways :-(

just got my 9300 and tried the leaked upgrade and it installed great onmy computer but nothing happened on my phone.. still running 5.0.

The 9300 is a GSM device and the 9330 is CDMA device. Different chips, different software.

I love all u ppl. who look at ur smart phone as a really bad nintendo d.s. because if ur spending 130.00 a mo. to play games on ur phone...............hey ipod is gr8 but if u want a good device for organizing your contacts, sending and receiving e-mails and getting spur of the moment info from the internet then the blackberry suits me just fine. and when o.s. 6 comes out w/ the ability to handle flash 10.0 and better it's just icing on the cake
