I haven't noticed much yet. I was hoping the radio would be better since for some reason I have spotty reception compared to my previous berries. I can only seem to get a 1x signal in many places.
No improvements there.

For some reason after this update none of my notifications worked. When trying to play any of the stock sounds they could not be played. Also, pressing the "A" key to lock the phone instead puts the phone in standby. Did anyone else have these issues? I have downgraded.

Fast and good battery life so far..:)

It says to press the mute key to get out of standby mode, I can't press it any harder and it won't get out of standby.

key pad lock is missing?

The stock ringtones are all in the wrong format
The back light has issues
Key Lock is missing entirely and standby is slow to turn on
My notification LED would get stuck on
Web pages just wouldn't render

Just terrible. I can't explain it, but this update is screwing up my phone big time. not worth it

Yikes, I guess I'll stay away from this one for now.

People responsible for for bringing us this leak, I thank you for being diligent, but to save people time and energy you should take it down! This leak doen not even allow your phone to "ring" and the browser becomes slower. Is there a leak out there that is higher than .337 for VZW????? If so can someone Please provide me with where to go to get it? How about that Sprint leak? will that work on a VZW carried phone????? I spent too much time upgrading to this and having to reload .337 for people to have to go through the same thing! do yourself a favor and ignore this "space hogging junk of a leak. Please a little help for a VZW carrier who wants something that will work that is higher than .337??

so the 8530 doesn't come stock with OS 5.0???

First of all, taking away the lock button is ridiculous. Then it tells you to press "mute" to exit the stand by mode. Assuming the mute button is on top of the phone (right?), that doesn't work, so I have to reset my phone to unlock it.

Once I reset, my home screen looks fine, but when I go to my menu screen, my wallpaper is cleared and it turns into a white background with only tiny pieces of the icons showing.

Browser is so slow....I've pretty much given up on looking anything up today.

Really hoping my wife doesn't have plans for us tonight so I can take time to downgrade.

First the good - separate mailboxes! I have BIS (gmail) and BES email and this version allowed me to have a gmail inbox with its own icon, a BES mailbox with its icon and a mixed mailbox(all in one). This is a great feature for people who get a lot of email from multiple sources and would for them not to be mixed in with each other.

Unfortunately that was about it on the positive front.

I could not connect ANY bluetooth device to the phone, it simply refused to connect.

There was no background on sub-menus i.e. not the home screen.

The browser experience was inconsistent, rendering was at times large and other times small.

When the default browser was set to HotSpot and there was no wifi connection the device failed to connect to the internet, I had to change the default setting to Internet browser or Blackberry browser to see any web site.

The back light was inconsistent, it would get VERY bright and stay that way even in the dark.

Don't install this version

Not having any of these issues. Works better than before to be honest.
