I just read about this on Blackberry leaks and already it's leaked!!! going to try it now *looking forward for that new BBM I was hearing about.

I can't even keep up with these leaks! I was just getting used to .405 and now this. What's the general consensus on this one?

Yes Master RIM I will anxiously happily await the release of the Tour 2 9650then pay full retail for it in order to get an OS 5 Blackberry then when I get it yes I will pay shipping to send my 9630 back to Waterloo,ON,Canada as a gift thank you master RIM for allowing me to do so. It seems the pre-bundled IM apps are also updated - Windows Live Messenger is at 2.5.31, BB AppWorld shows latest version at 2.5.30

So uhh, MyFaves is gone again. <_<

maybe RIM wants to stabalize 5.0 on its flagship before looking at previous models and making more of a mess on multiple devices

I hope the duplicate and overwritten Contacts issue present in .405 (for some) is gone in this one. Might install in an hour or so...

The 405 version was very bad and a step back from 371. This is the best version so far.

I just downloaded this OS and yea, the myfaves is nice to see back on, but my 3g seems to not show up. After I ran my back up files back on to the phone, it just showed the 3g without the bb flag next to it, so I had no internet connection. Did a reboot, and now I just have capitalized EDGE. Resent service books, and another reboot and still nothing. Any suggestions? And this OS seems kinda sluggish..i was running rogers .351 i think before. IDK, I love all these leaks, but I think I might just stick with the official releases until TMO releases their official. I work for TMO and the tech rep said they will soon release the new OS, they just didnt tell me when :(

My 3g is working fine and BBM .52 is working flawlessly right now. Maybe your location.

The only thing I like about .415 is that you get a SMS/MMS and Messages folder, other than that .405 is still "MyFave" because it has MyFaves and its much more stable.

tried to run the update through my parallels VM on a MAC and it won't load...I guess I'm stuck at 405 until the next leak.

Works great on T-Mobile US. Corporate email is separated in it's own icon now called "Desktop". Yay!!! I deleted vendor.xml before running the msi just in case. I am not sure if that was necessary or not.

You people are nobs! This OS doesn't mess with your 3G signals!!

THe only differecnes with this OS build is that if fixes all the memory leaks. I am booting with 10MB of extra memory available, as opposed to .405!!

Nimbuzz does work, so does Opera mini 5.

But there is a serious issue with this OS. It "hides" all your text messages at some point.
Seems BBM related. All the threaded SMSes disappear. They're still in the DB (advanced restore), but not shown.

Im with At&t right now but I also have my Theme as (Windows 7) but when I talk on the phone...I want to lower the volume but if I want to raise it up while still on the phone I can't it stays at the level I put it down at. "SomeOne try to make sure im not crazy" And its probly cuz I have my theme but HMu tell me wat u think.

I never downloaded a leak version before! This is very good!!! When it was first booted, I couldn't see my 3G sign and then it went to Edge, and after 30mins it was fine! I love the new options menu on the home screen!! My IM's is updated, now u can send a file through yahoo, gtalk etc! U can now send voice notes through bbm for the menu key, plus u can choose the pic size and preview before saving pics through bbm!! Very nice!!! I also like the audio postcard, and the mobile backup!!! The themes menu has been updated, and I like that u see sms/mms in ur main msg box! And that u can now add pic through the menu for ur contacts! Only I don't see is the "show recent contacts when composing an email" is that in the OS version???? Please let me knw!!!!!

Just recently downloaded .415 and after the install everything worked fine except no service. I tried everything battery pull,turning off all network connection but yet still SOS still showed. So I had to go back to .296

Is there an option to turn off 'Threaded SMS' yet? And also, does the 'Enter' key still substitute as the 'Send' key? Or is there a way to disable that option? Thanks!
