Leaked: OS 5.0.0.415 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700

Bold 9700 Just a few days ago we saw OS 5.0.0.405 for the 9700 pop up, and now we already have another leak floating around. Reports are good on this one, so if you have some spare time you may want to give it a go. Drop a comment and let us know if it has anything new (like my 'Show Recent Contacts When Composing Email' option!).

*Update: It looks like this OS may include an updated BBM (version 5.0.0.52) - the folks at BBHybrids have posted an OTA link so you can grab just BBM from your device here.*

Rapishare sucks! U have to wait 116 seconds to download, but then it tells you the "download session timed out". So basically if u don't
have a PREMIUM account, which let's u download faster, your screwed

Stop complaining in 9700 section!!! this is for 9700 users to help each other out and find out the bugs/improvements of this build. Rim never forgets about it's other device they continue to work on getting their os updated. But for now priority is first! and that's 9700. 9700 is the best phone that Rim has out right now and it is obvious they want the best for it since the released 5.0 versions of the 9700 were buggy. PRIORITY is 9700 so stop crying they will eventually give you love once the 9700 is perfect!

This is awesome! 97% downloaded from RapidShare, will be leaving the office in 10 minutes to go home and install this!

Hopefully by the time I get home this comments page will be full of disgruntled 9630/9000/8900 or should I say legacy users wondering where their OS5 update is ;)

Yes Master RIM I will anxiously happily await the release of the Tour 2 9650then pay full retail for it in order to get an OS 5 Blackberry then when I get it yes I will pay shipping to send my 9630 back to Waterloo,ON,Canada as a gift thank you master RIM for allowing me to do so. Oh and any annoying bugs you could include in my 9650 would be greatly appreciated so I can anticipate whatever phone you may have coming out in the 2nd quarter 2010. Thanks Master RIM...... There are a LOT more GSM carriers in the world than CDMA. It stands to reason we will have many more leaks for GSM. Im guessing there are 100 CDMA carriers in the world versus 1000+ GSM ones. So it 100 chances v 1000 chances of a leak.

That was me when .351 came out on Rogers. I kept my stock .330 Tmo OS. The day .371 came out days after - I couldn't take it. Then .405, and upgraded to .415 as soon as it came out. What can you do, it is fun after all.

It seems the pre-bundled IM apps are also updated - Windows Live Messenger is at 2.5.31, BB AppWorld shows latest version at 2.5.30
