And here we have OS 5.0.0.1036 for the BlackBerry Curve 8900. Makes you kind of wonder how long Research In Motion will keep supporting OS' for these devices right? As always folks, leaked OS so be sure to back up your data. Word has it there is more OS' on the way just not, today.
*OS Disclaimer - Please Read: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release and as such is not supported by RIM or your Carrier. If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). *

Long time no @ mentions lol I was in jail for some crime I didn't commit from 2004. I'm all bailed out now and yeah this has me in awe I can't believe they went past .999 so now I'm sure we can expect BlackBerry Bold 10,130's and such lol

Sooooo, any word as to when the official release will appear?

Hi,
Why you need for the official one to be released? Just load this one into your device, it would be fine as long as you backup your device first.
From previous experience, there are almost nothing difference between Leak and Official.

just finished the update...no noticeable differences from .1022 except the reboot speed and probably a little more memory, but it is one step closer to 6

How about the battery's life? Is it better than .1022?

i found when i updated to .1022 it was so buggy, always lagging when on bbm or txt, i hope this one is better with that, hows it looking so far?

I have noticed a delay in getting SMS messages after installing this version. Anyone else experience this at all? I was running .822 version before this.

Link is dead from the original post, as well as all the links on the source page. Anyone with updated links?

So in 10 days no one is able to provide a working link?
edit:
I checked the forums, and found one additional link posted by "Matrix Leader" here :
