Geeez. It feels like it's been forever since we've seen a new OS leak for the Curve 8900. Well, the wait is over! You can no grab OS 4.6.1.199 * Keep in mind this is NOT an official release, so install at your own risk and only if you're comfortable with doing so. If you've never installed an OS beta before be sure to dive into the CrackBerry forums and read all of our tutorials. Follow the links below for more information and to download! Hopefully, never.
.174 wipes my settings after every battery pull never fail, battery needs to be left out for 20 mins in order for them to come back.

don't think so, it's an 8900 OS, not a 9000 OS.
I refreshed, and i saw the image and i jumped for joy!
Then i read and saw it wasn't for the 9530. *sadface*

whats the major differences between this (.199) and (.168)
Downloaded and installed (10 mins, really fast !!!)
SoOo guys this was my 1st ever os update. Since updating from 4.6.1.114 to 4.6.1.199 im not to sure about this 1 .The transactions between apps seems to be a lot slower in this new update i havent noticed anything else other then youtube working flawlessly , GPS BEING extremely speedy
SO whats the word on the new update? is it worth doing? i'm still running .168
