Leaked: OS 4.6.1.174 for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 Posted in BlackBerry OS on 08 Mar 2009 11:17 by Kevin Michaluk | I love weekends! Seems to the the time that the latest BlackBerry OS's always leak. Last night in the CrackBerry Forums member Vicious_Cid dropped a links to the latest for the BlackBerry Curve 8900, OS 4.6.1.174. Click the image above to download from one of several mirrors. Reminder: Keep in mind this is NOT an official release, so install at your own riskand only if you're comfortable with doing so. If you've never installed an OS beta before be sure to dive into the CrackBerry forums and read all of our tutorials. Keep in mind that these leaked OS's sometimes take a step backwards in one area while taking a step or two forward in another. If you're on the fence, you're best off waiting until the Discussion & Findings thread fills up with some data.

just finished the d/l
Excellent. I just installed .68 and forgot to delete the vendor.xml file. This should fix that.
I was a little hesitant but went for it after all, the DL doesn't take as long as I was used to with the 8320 and was really smooth. So far it works perfectly.
I am pretty stoked that there has been another leak. Does anyone know what the difference is so far?
check the thread there is a jam load of info there
