Alright, so it's kind of sort of a leak but not really. In any case, while Rogers is in the process of rolling out OS 10.3.0.1418 officially to the BlackBerry Passport, the files are also available for every other BlackBerry 10 device. At this point, you'll have to load the files manually but for anyone familiar with leaks, that shouldn't be an issue.

Worst case, you can hang around the forums and wait for some autoloaders to be uploaded, which are surely already on their way. If you do decide to take matters into your own hands and decide to give 10.3 a go, you do so at your own risk. You should always back up your data before loading any sort of OS files that don't come directly via the normal install process. You dig? You can find the files in the CrackBerry Forums.

I've had problems with duplicate contacts, remember app not remembering call notes and Assistant reminders. A few glitches in the calendar app, but for the most part it runs great. Oh and the watermarks.

Happened to me too. I ended up going back to factory OS version then using the autoloader to this version. The problem happened when I did a full restore. Just restore contacts, calendar, etc.... and you should be ok.....

To be honest I never had an issue with link..it might be crap but it works just fine with me..the only time I had a problem was when I installed the 10.3.0.1052..it just wouldnt backup some of my apps..in the end I created 3 different backups, 1 for media, 1 for settings and 1 for app data..that was the only way to back up everything after trying a full backup for 20-30 times..the issue was that it would connect on my pc and at some point it would just dissappear..

Just moved to New Zealand and there is ZERO love for BlackBerry in this country. Shops don't even stock them. Guess I'll have to move country again to receive the software updates.

You don't need to move to another country. All you need to get a hold of a sim from one of those countries/carriers that releases the new versions first (like the UK or Canadian carriers). It doesn't even have to be an active sim. A new (not yet activated) or an old/expired one will work too. All you have to do is to put that sim in your device and search for OS updates. If that carrier has released the new update in their home country, you will most likely be able to also get it wherever you are.

BlackBerry have really disappointed they are now leas bother about old client. They should provide proper support to old users.
I have not seen single update for my Z10STL100-1, it's really bad.
Z10 users should get first preference because of them only BlackBerry has entered into smartphone battle.

Look at apple or android, 1 update a year.. we are now at 10.3? With maintenance builds along the way that had pic password and other features.

Coding takes time so give it time unless you want a buggy release

Would rather have a release with fewer bugs. We don't want another ios8. I think 10.3 was all about making changes to accommodate the passport. Now they have to go back and test the other devices and tweak accordingly. Also they have to make changes for the Classic support. A lot of new code and a lot of regression testing. So best for us to just wait for the 10.3.1 release.

These official releases can be loaded via Sachesi over usb, for any BB10 device, and works just like an over the air upgrade. One does not lose any data or settings.

Just use the Autoloader that is in the first post of this thread.... run it, plug your phone into comp using USB then let it do its magic.... takes like 10 minutes to load on.....

I wish someone would do a GOOD step-by-step tutorial for beginners on how to load 10.3 onto my Z30... I've searched and have only found horrible ones or advanced.

- Download the autoloader for your device from the posts.
- Unzip it (win zip, 7zip etc)
- Plug your BlackBerry into your pc with USB cable
- Run the autoloader.exe
- Power off your BlackBerry
- Enter your device password on the dos screen if you have one
- It will load in about 7 minutes
- Unplug and enjoy

This method will erase everything on your phone, but I find it to be the cleanest way to do things. So backup via link before you do anything.

I suggest savings contacts to the sim, backing up password keeper etc. To the cloud, keeping calendar events on Google, when you install leaks it takes only minutes to restore.

Wait a bit … it pays. The Z10, which I also own, works phantastically with 10.2.1.3247, the latest 10.2-version. 10.3 is already on the horizon and will be there, soon.

Just did clean install (security wipe before and after installing and no backup/restore). So far so good. Let's see how battery time turns out to be as it sucked on 1154.

The Glitch in this OS is that notifications need volume to be on maximum. There is not much in between.

People at some point you have to realize that BB10 is the best operating system. The G3 LG already has a copy of predictive swipe to type text. I do not understand whether or not your BlackBerry patented innovation. Should be respected. But time will tell.

Been using leaked OS10.3.1 for over a week - just found the coolest map option for pictures - all pictures are shown on map and if you zoom in on an area you can see all pics taken at that spot...is this available on the pictures app in 10.3? Works great for finding all pics taken at one location or remembering where a picture was taken.

It only works with geotag on but given that none of my pictures are uploaded to the cloud nobody would have access to the geotag info file anyways. In my line of work having the pictures sorted by location is going to help a lot not to mention personal pics . Definitely my favorite new feature.

just installed this version on my Z10, so far that ive been testing it out, not bad, i like it, but they removed the feature for camera when taking pictures by pressing anywhere on the screen, which i really loved it...hopefully they won't remove it :(

If you do a full restore from an older os version Android apps no longer work..... the way I fixed it is i did a custom restore of just contacts, calendar, etc...... this worked for me anyway.... maybe there is an easier way I don't know about......

Downloaded 10.3.0.1418 yesterday evening. My observations as below :
Blend has additional feature. Now passkey is generated on both device and desktop to match. This means two stage of security. First device passkey and then the password.

Sometimes had overheating issue on Passport. But now with the new leak it is history.

Call logs used to vanish when taking backups thru BlackBerry link. Now it is solved.

Cam has been more responsive.

Battery life has been the forte for Passport. It doesn't disappoint with this new leak as well.

Overall is good and must have update. My personal rating is 9/10.

I've installed leaked versions of 10.3 in the past on my z30 but it crippled my device a lot so I've returned to 10.2 and it works great

After having tried to download this leak and seen how complicated the bitcasa cloud works (no progress bar at all or any other sign that the download process is going on), I stopped immediately this process and decided to wait until the official release is given. Too high the risk.

WiFi calling is gone from all new BBs after the the 10's. Pisses me off that Tmobile adds wifi calling support for practicality ALL other new devices but left the BBs in the dust.

This is working well on my Z10 so far. This time my Remember tasks made it over- I think because I didnt use the BBlink Transfer phone function. Backed up the old phone and selectively restored, then signed into all of my accounts.
Finally a pretty much real agenda view in the calendar and the ability to add tasks right there make the upgrade a must have for me.
Remember is still perplexing in terms of things like handling completed tasks and even showing them in "overdue". Tasks are also still just as wierd in BBM groups, showing up again after phone transfer months after you deleted them with the inane 2 step process.
BBOS is still the best from an organiser point of view, but one wonders if they actually dog food this UI stuff sometimes. Far too much reaching to the top of the screen for those of us with thumbs not as long as fingers...

I have the same issue. I have the 10.3.0.1052 and I ran the Auto loader without success.

The loader stops and doesn't continue.

If you want to fix that, download or if you have one of the old autoloaders from the previous leaks, just keep your phone connected to your computer, double click the old autoloader leaks i.e. 10.3.0.1052 or any of the 10.2.1. It should reset your phone to whichever os leak you used.

Loaded the 10.3.0.1418 from the 1154 on my Z-10 stl 100-3. nothing new just some some bug fixes and a few bugs emerged, my screen gets stuck half-day when I close a app a few times, hasn't happened today tho, another thing us my radio and data gets turned off at system settings. hope that stop. The battery seems great. Hardly much excess drainage overall I like it.

They always said the Classic would be launched with 10.3.1 and the rest of us would have to wait for some time after that, hopefully not too long. It makes business sense to let the Passport sell for a while before the next one is launched, although they may appeal to different people. I hope 10.3.1 comes to us all very soon - I've just bought a new Z30 which is excellent. However I imagine they will want to entice people into buying the two new products as much as possible before they let existing phones benefit.

Well to begin with the new OS looks fantastic. Hub looks nice and quick actions is really good. Different wallpaper and lock is a welcome feature.
Few problems that I have noticed till now are :
1. Lift to wake up unlocks the device without asking for password.
2. Blend is not working, is anyone else facing this issue.

HELP!!! I'm stuck with 10.3 apps on a 10.2 OS + Radio. i did a non-destructive via sachesi 1.9.4.
update OS would not install. possibly because i'm on an enterprise device.

i need advice on how to reverse the apps to get it functioning again.

i tried using BB Link to do a restore. didn't work.
