BlackBerry Jam Asia is happening on Sept. 26th-27th at the Asia World-Expo in Hong Kong and your time for online registration is running out if you've been on the fence about attending. If you're a BlackBerry developer or looking to get in on BlackBerry development it's an event you'll want to check out as it's packed with hands-on sessions, training and more:

  • Insightful keynote speakers: Hear from BlackBerry executives about emerging opportunities in mobile computing.
  • Essential content: Learn about leveraging the mobile computing opportunity, building a business on BlackBerry and the Built for BlackBerry designation in a wide variety of breakout sessions.
  • BlackBerry community & app showcase: Spend some time at the Jam Space, where you can get hands-on with the latest BlackBerry 10 devices, talk to BlackBerry experts and get your technical questions answered, check out the top games on BlackBerry 10 and much more.
  • In-depth training: Get a more intensive, hands-on education with our pre-conference, one-day workshops. Choose from courses on the BlackBerry 10 Native SDK & Cascades or a Gaming Workshop.
  • Valuable partnerships: Share ideas through networking opportunities and make new connections within the developer community.
  • Get the right tools: Qualified developers could receive a BlackBerry® 10 Dev Alpha C device* at BlackBerry Jam Asia to help test and optimise app performance for the latest BlackBerry 10 QWERTY smartphones.
We're sending our very own Simon Sage out to the event, so there will be plenty of coverage coming from Hong Kong but nothing takes the cake like being there and experiencing it all for yourself. You can head on over to the BlackBerry Jam Asia registration site for the full details and to get yourself signed up for the event, sessions and more.

Should I do it again? Nah.

Wish I could go to one of these, have a few good app ideas, but then again who doesn't.

Well I'll be passed if I stay up and it's not streamed.

If they be launching a phone I'm sure it will be.

All well and good but as developers is it making sense to invest in a company that can't seem to know what the future holds for them....just wondering they should focus on marketing and sales to stay alive.

I wish I had the money to attend!! :( #TeamBlackBerry future BlackBerry employee, developer, and UI designer

Let's hope the attendance is good. Tough time for a conference given the quarterly results and strategic review.
