We first heard about Lara Croft and the Guardian of light quite a while ago, but it's been sitting high on my "want" list all along. Today we get a nice surprise as the game is finally available for download in BlackBerry App World. I've only been playing it for a few minutes, but I can already say I'm hooked - and totally pumped to play through it.

Join Lara as she ventures deep into the jungles of central America in search of the Mirror of Smoke, a powerful artefact from a lost age. Whoever wields this item holds the future of mankind in his hands, with the power to rid the world of light. With the Mirror now in the hands of Xolotl, the God of Darkness, Lara and Totec, the Guardian of the Mirror, have until sunrise to defeat him or else plunge the world once again into an age of darkness.

The 3D graphics are awesome and it runs super smooth on the PlayBook. If you're at all a Tomb Raider fan (and honestly, who isn't?) then you should definitiely pick this one up. Grab it for $3.99 in BlackBerry App World.

Not only am I extremely pumped to get this, but it's going to sell like mad, hopefully encouraging SE and other larger game studios to keep 'em coming

How are the controls? Easy or complicated? Awesome Mondays @ 9am EDT! Two AWESOME games on two consecutive Monday mornings! Let's rock and roll this!

Awesome! Another big publisher testing the waters on Playbook. Going on Twitter now to tell Alec Saunders good job!

Wow! Alot of new games are coming to the PlayBook.
Angry Birds Space, Great little War Game, updated level for AB Rio... and now Tomb Raider!

Amazing to have Square Enix develop for the PB, hope enough people buy this game so that they bring the Final Fantasy series to the PlayBook!

i'll definitely buy this one. Something fresh...this is the sort of things thats suppose to be tweeted about and create hypes. I woke up monday to see an awesome surprise without being told to charge my playbook for no reason. Thanks @jeppson

Game selection has improved SO MUCH from a year ago. I'd like to see more applications, but I understand the games will increase sales, and more playbooks in consumers hands means more incentive for developers to release their apps for playbook that I REALLY want.

It IS nice to have so many kick *ss games to choose from.

Downloaded and Played! Game play is good! The volume is not that good, wish it had more sound. Graphics are amazing!! Just playing easy level to get the feel for the controls. Goimg well, and I like it!!!
