It's been a while since we've run an actual celebrity in one of our CrackBerry Sightings posts, but when I saw this picture of Lady Gaga walking out of Dolce & Gabbana I thought it would be good for a few comments from the guys and gals in the audience. As much as I love the BlackBerry 8830, I can't help but think Lady Gaga needs a slightly more sleek, updated BlackBerry to go with those shades, dress and shoes. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess she's a Verizon customer, so really that leaves only one option here... she needs a BlackBerry 9630! All those waiting for the BlackBerry 9630 too, say I. Seriously, Lady Who? Is she really a celebrity, let alone an "actual" one?
Yes, she's had a number one album and single in the last two weeks. I'd say that qualifies her for fame. The album is, um, okay. She's a kook, but not a very articulate or interesting one.
I've been patiently waiting on an upgrade for my Sprint 8830 for a while now. Its a great phone but a camera, higher resolution screen, much more RAM and an aesthetic overhaul would be welcome. The 9630 can't come soon enough. Holding out for this one which is hard because I'm due for an upgrade and the Pre is right around the corner

I am due for an upgrade in August and am patiently waiting for the promotional offers via Sprint.
Would totally get th3 9630 if it had WIFI!!! Seriously, what the hell is verizon's deal? Somebody please respond and tell me why verizon is so wifitarded!
The reason verizon isnt doing WIFI on much of their devices is because they are improving on their network. They recently bought a portion of the 700MHz spectrum so they can build a new 4g system called LTE. which will make it super fast and also make verizon a GSM competetor. also they recently revamped and are revamping their current EVDO systems to be incorporated in their 850MHz spectrum so people can benifit from their 3G every where. thats why no need for wifi because they will be makin the net faster for ur phones.
What really needs to happen is somebody needs to launch her into Outer Space without a helmet.....

.. Anyone who knows the difference between the two, and who wants their already fast device to be twice as fast when they're in a wifi hotspot, that's who. And hey, here's the other thing. Why does everyone always have to play "This vs That"? Nintendo vs XBox VS Playstation. Ipod vs Blackberry..
No one pays me ANYTHING to be a fanboi, so I don't get caught up in that S*#T. I buy what works. I have all of the major game systems, because they ALL have something cool to offer. Just like CDMA & Wifi. Why have a phone with one access mode, when you can have two, making it that much more badass! Look it up, you found your way online. Do some research. Wifi is a viable source, and is MUCH faster at loading online multimedia than CDMA, period.

Poker Face is my ringtone!! Yes, Lady Gaga definitely needs an upgrade. If she can afford to shop at Dolce & Gabbana, she can afford a brand new Blackberry! Nevertheless, it's so cool to see some of my favourite stars using Blackberry's. :)
