KFlicks Netflix manager for BlackBerry

If you're a Netflix user you no doubt apprecaite the ability to update your queue from your smartphone. Sometimes you see a preview and aren't near a computer, or maybe you just want to browse the latest movies while riding the train or waiting in the doctors office. If Movela Netflix Queue Manager is a bit out of your price range or too "beefy" for your liking, KFlicks may be the solution. The latest Netflix manager gives a slimmed down view of everything you need. You can browse titles, see recommendations and add titles to both your instant and disc queues. Overall a great way to use Netflix on the go. While it doesn't actually stream titles, it gets most else of what you need to do done. KFlicks sells for $1.99 in the CrackBerry App Store.

Couldn't wait any longer for Netflix to release an app for BB so I bought an iPad off a friend. No rush now don't need it anymore (n)...

You bought an iPad just to use the Netflix app? That's hardcore :)
luqman24 Mar 7, 2011 at 11:23 am
For the bigger screen to watch stuff and the apps as well :)

Lol I didn't buy it because steve jobs told me to, I bought it cuz I got it for $200 and its the 16GB version and wifi only. I thought it was a great deal so why not go ahead right? :P

I don't know why I would pay for a product like this. Slap some ads on it and give it away. I just mean if you are gaining access to people's movie list that's some useful information I'd think.

What would be awesome is if u could use netflix and watch stuff on your blackberry. Could really care less on managing my netflix.
lazydogrex Mar 7, 2011 at 11:32 am
Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen. BlackBerry is always a third class citizen when it comes to capabilites such as this ... behind iPhone and Android. It's one of the reasons so many BB users are jumping ship. I keep hanging in there with the rest of the passengers hoping the holes will eventually get plugged.

It's embarrassing (for NetFlix and RIM) that there isn't an "official" NetFlix app for Blackberry. Especially when the bar is set so low as to just be able to manage the queue.

Blackberry needs a streaming application, not this. However I'm sure we won't see this until the next generation of berries come out. Maybe, just maybe... The torch would be powerful enough for a streamig app?!

Purchased/Downloaded onto my Torch and the app won't open. Did a couple reboots and still nothing. Anyone experiencing this issue?

If I see a preview that interests me, I use the mobile Netflix site to manage my queue and it works just fine.
mckillio Mar 7, 2011 at 11:49 am
While this would be a very useful app, there's no way that I'm going to pay to *just* manage my queue.
Lefty923 Mar 7, 2011 at 12:22 pm
Bought it, not very intuitive. It's hard to tell which buttons are active, I was expecting a better interface. Slimmed down is they key word here. I think Movela would be more to my liking, however the $4.99 price tag keeps me away.

I really like this app actually... I agree it's not all bells and whistles, but it gets the job done, and is a lot easier than navigating the Netflix website in the browser. Also, I've found that it's not just a matter of managing your queue... I like the "Click for Cast" option, and then you can see the actor's biography and filmography... Overall, for $1.99, this app more than makes up for the price with convenience. It's nifty.

Just go to m.netflix.com and you can manage your queue and it costs absolutely nothing.
