Already a big hit on other platforms - Jack Lumber is now available for BlackBerry 10 and with it brings not only some great gaming action but you'll need to use the old gray matter to beat the levels.

The concept of the game is pretty straight forward - it's all about chopping logs, but clearly things aren't quite that simple. Once you start the game and begin level 1 you'll be shown how to chop the logs as there is a certain way to do it. Then as the game begins a bunch of logs jump onto the screen. By pressing down on the display the logs will then move in slow motion and it's a case of drawing a line through them all to chop them. That's the easy part.

As you progress things clearly get harder. Some logs will have a number on them - meaning they need to be chopped as many times as the number states. Other logs will have an arrow on them and must only be chopping in that direction. And to spice things up even more animals will randomly appear on the screen which you must avoid striking with your axe.

Priced at £2.50/$3.99 Jack Lumber isn't cheap but it is an awesome game and quite addictive. We've seen a few chopping/slicing games already for BlackBerry 10 and this one is certainly up there with the best of the bunch. Give it a try and see what you think.

I normally don't like the 'fruit slash' genre of games but there's actually some strategy to playing this game and it's fun. Definitely recommend.

Just purchased it. This will be my first game to be installed on my Z30. Let's see.

Played through this game to the end... poured way too many hours into it but loved every minute it, best game I've played in a long time.

Can't see where this would be worth $4 !?

Looks cool, but 3.99 is a bit pricey for me. Would consider it at .99 to 1.99 though.

I support BB10, NOT BB Management!
