Instagram is a social picture-sharing application with its roots as a mobile-first experience. Users can upload pictures in a signature square aspect ratio, apply artistic filters, upload their creations, and view what their friends have been posting. Users can leave comments and hearts on pictures that show up on their news feed, or they can explore popular photos shared to the public. It launched originally as an iOS app, and came to Android after a long wait. Facebook has since acquired Instagram in an effort to bolster their online photo services. There is still no official Instagram client for BlackBerry in sight, and from the looks of it, there may not be one at all.
