One of the most requested apps I have seen over the past year is a good chat application for Facebook. AHaz Designs has met the request with his new application, Improved Chat for Facebook. The application does just what you expect it would. It allows you to chat with all of your online Facebook friends, and in a familiar chat interface. The app features homescreen notifications, editable sounds in your device's profiles, automatic saving of conversations, and the ability to update your Facebook status right from the application. This is all done through a secure login to Facebook.
You can pick up Improved Chat for Facebook at the CrackBerry App Store, on sale for $1.99. The application is compatible with all devices running 4.7 and up, including BlackBerry 6.

Face-chat, a free alternative, but quite buggy.

I too use face chat. But it would be worth the $1.99 if this one didn't kill my torch's battery and the ability to save chats indefinitely is nice.

A demo version would be nice, like a 1 week trial or something!

I use this.. it works ok.. sometimes the text gets bugged and boggled up together all on the same line.. and sometimes it makes active chats disappear (exit and reopen makes the chat active again).... aaand its a battery killer.
But overall it does what it says and that's all that matters.. just don't leave it on all the time unless you have a couple spare batteries in your pocket.

My phone freezes up when I try accessing the app on my 9780 and then it takes forever to load..Can be a great app if they fix the bugs..

Both are free and work quite well.

Does anyone have their support information where I can contact them for a refund? I refuse to open the app to get that information.
