Popular LED notification app HUB++ is on sale. If you've been holding out on getting it, perhaps now is the time to check it out. It has been headless for a while now and appeals a lot more to people now. It has support for BBM, WhatsApp, Skype, as well as your usual Emails, SMS and calls. You can also create custom rules too.

The sale starts today, March 14th and will run until March 20th, 2014. You can get it on sale for $1.99 (usual price $2.99). There are lots of these apps around now and it's always nice to have choice and everyone has their preference. If HUB++ is something you've been looking to get but always hesitated, perhaps this sale will make you take the leap.

HUB++ is available for all BlackBerry 10 devices, so no-one is left out.

Bebuzz is better

Just wanted to ask if bebuzz is better :D
Thanks!

Constructive feedback please.. not just because BeBuzz was your app on OS 7 then it's automatically better on OS 10

Personal preference. I used both BeBuzz/Hub++ and prefer Hub++.

Used Bebuzz for years, switched to Hub++ recently. I was impressed and especially liked when it went headless... but now that Bebuzz is headless I'm trying it again. So far I think it may regain it's position as a favorite.

Main reason? I can tag a user with a particular color alert no matter what account their message comes in on... with Hub++ the user alerts are "per account", so I have to create multiple entries.

Bebuzz: is there any way to add per-user detection on Whatsapp? :)

deltact

I prefer separate rules per account because I segregate my life via email accounts...I often interact with the same person in more than one way.

I've had problems with hub++ since it went headless. While the led and vibration are reliable, the sound us not. I've missed important texts as a result. More of a toy than anything. Have not used the other

Xano

This should be native on next BB10 OS upgrade.

mckillio

It should have been native five years ago.

I vaguely remember BlackBerry/RIM making a comment a few years back to the effect that they wouldn't do something like that because it's basically freeze out any app devs that would earn revenue from similar app, like Hub++ and BeBuzz. Now that users expect third-party apps to fulfill this feature, I doubt BlackBerry would screw over the devs at this point.

Power tools is way better

LateToTheGame

Like Power Tools but Best Profiles on my Nokia 5800 had some extra features like reverting to previous profile at the end of a change rather than selecting a specific one, which I miss. Never used Bebuzz so I can't comment there.

dcroissant

I wonder if this is due to the announcement that Bebuzz went headless yesterday?

If Bebuzz had been on the ball with headless I'd have stock with them but I like the features in hubb++ and I'll stick with them for now.

HotFix

I had been holding out for holster recognition but since it is in sale what the heck.

Thanks CrackBerry for the heads up on the sale!

Holster recognition will be added soon.

Can you add a BBM notification for a particular user ? (ie. Pink for girlfriend on BBM , etc.)

I was disappointed by this app, it is very hard to configure comparing to BeBuzz and Power Tools.

olga421

Can someone pls tell me why it doesn't work for me,i turn off all notifications like it tells me,so I just use hub ++ and nothing what can I be missing thanx

Hi guys, i just bought the app. My default sounds are still active so like i receive two sounds every notification. I don't know how to set it.

You need to turn off the device notifications for the accounts that you configure with HUB++. For example:
Notifications -> Messages : turn off Sound/Vibrate/LED. Just send an email to support if you need further assistance.

BowTiesAreCool

Goes on sale the day after the headless version of Bebuzz comes out.....hummmm.....

Prem WatsApp

It was included in the March Madness sale, so timing might rather be a coincidence. Or they just included it, because.... of what you are hinting at.

"No Q10?" -> "Buy from Chen... "

devcellent

Please note that HUB++ was selected weeks ago for the March Madness campaign, and thus the price reduction came into effect for the campaign. We have been trying our best to provide superior customer service for our apps.

Prem WatsApp

Got it. Might check Bebuzz too.

"No Q10?" -> "Buy from Chen... "

toc610

Bebuzz has been most reliable to me. Tried Hub++ and Powertools and I had to reinstall my Q10 from scratch twice after using those two headless and getting a bricked phone.
Bebuzz just seems to work and is sufficient for me. But, mind you, I use it with active frame.

Extremely buggy app. With new updates new critical bugs and no response from support.
