BlackBerry shows how your tea kettle could be a gateway for hackers

At last year's BlackBerry Security Summit, BlackBerry showed how it would be possible for hackers to take over an infusion pump and while this year's attack on a tea kettle, which you can now watch the video of, may not have carried the same shock value, it was certainly as interesting when you consider the amount of stuff we continue to add to our connected world.

BlackBerry's goal here was to show how anything that can connect to your Wi-Fi can be compromised and turned into a gateway for hackers to steal your email, financial details, and more.
