If you are a keen Twitter for BlackBerry user and are rocking a BlackBerry 10 smartphone you have a couple of options when it comes to actually sending out a tweet. The first and most long winded one is pretty obvious and that's to open up the Twitter application and do the business there. However, there is a much quicker and easier option that I tend to normally forget about.

Thanks to the power behind the search options in BlackBerry 10 all you need to do is to type the word 'tweet' or just the letters 'tw' and press the space bar followed by the message you want to send out to your followers. For hardware keyboard users this process is one step shorter than for all-touch users who will need to press the search icon at the base of the display to bring up the virtual keyboard. But for Q10/Q5 users you just grab your BlackBerry and type.

As you'll see in the image above, once you are happy with what you have typed it's just a case of tapping the 'Tweet' tab and your message is sent - all without even opening the Twitter application. And due to the wonders of the BlackBerry Hub, if you do get a reply to your Tweet you still won't have to open the app to reply - clever stuff.

This is just one of the many features of BlackBerry 10 that makes us people who 'get stuff done'. Try sending out a tweet from another operating system and nothing comes close to the speed in which BlackBerry 10 performs.

Productivity is key for BlackBerry 10 users and this is just one little tip to help you make the most of your time.
