Remember what a pain it was to change your email signature on BlackBerry in the past? Not anymore thanks to BlackBerry 10.
Now, instead of having to venture into your BIS settings to get this done, the feature is built in to the email settings on the device so you can change it up (or disable it) with just a few quick taps. No longer do you have to dive into the deep email settings to make any changes, so the frustration is out and the ease is in.
By default the signature will read Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone -- which is great for a while if you want to profess your BlackBerry 10 love, but you may want to change it to something else or just turn it off after a while.
You're welcome to change it up however you'd like and can do so for each of your email accounts individually, so if you want different signatures for work or email accounts it's not a problem.
Keep reading and we'll show you how!
-
From within the Hub, tap the overflow icon (3 dots)
-
Tap Settings
-
Tap Email Accounts
-
Choose the account for which you want to change the signature
Here you will see an option for Auto Signature. You can either toggle to turn it off, or simply edit it in the text box. When you're done, go back to save.
That's all there is to it. You can change this up to any custom text that will be applied to all of your outgoing emails.

Absolutely much easier. I've always turned it off. It may work for business to have a signature, but for personal emails I've always thought it to be annoying.

Good tips.

Dos anyone know if BB10 can use HTML coding in signatures, or is it still stuck in the stone ages like in BBOS 7, where plain text rules the day?

Is there a way to add a signature to text messages?

Thanks Adam
I was looking for a way to do this since it was done previously from my Rogers blackberry site. Where did you find this?

I would really like to have the option within the open compose email screen. While I type up an email sometimes I don't want the signature sometimes I do so I would like to be able to change it easy just for that email. Another thing I would like is to have a few different signatures and be able to pick which one I want. (Outlook on my computer has this and I use it lot)

I use Autotext entries for different signatures on my 9930 and Playbook in Bridge Mode. It sounds like I will still be able to do that.
