Hootsuite Twitter client for BlackBerry on its way

As the Twitter space continues to grow, so do the apps that allow you to access it. The latest big name contender looking for space on your BlackBerry is soon too be Hootsuite. They havesent out a newsletter today that was meant for the announcement of their compatibility for the iPhone 4 but at the bottom of that newsletter I happened to notice the BlackBerry mention.
Hootsuite has been making it's rounds across platforms these days and in order to keep up with the many others out there, a BlackBerry app is certainly needed. How it looks and runs remains to be seen but clearly we'll know soon enough. They should just release this app. It's fantastic & I don't see why they're keeping it in Beta anymore.

Does HootSuite alert you to incoming tweets? I'm using Twibble right now, which is a very nice app, but doesn't alert to incoming tweets.

I've been using socialscope for quite sometime now but there are times where it will let me down so I def wanna see how hootsuite is to compare! Plus hootsuite has way more social networks that it links up rather than socialscope.

So its going to be called Hootberry and not hootsuite? I don't mind the name difference at all, but it seems a bit of a weird company direction in terms of brand consistency.

I'm incredibly excited for Hootsuite for my BB. I've used Hootsuite on my PC for quite a while and hope the app will be infinitely better than Twitter for BB...
