Following up on yesterday's video montage of the BBM Music Launch Party in the UK, Emkwan sent us another video. In this one, he sits down with BBM Music guru Eric Karnesty (Senior Marketing Mgr- Go to Market EMEA) for a quick run through of the app, straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. If you missed Bla1ze's initial video walk through of BBM Music, you can catch that here for a bit more of an in-depth look.
BBM Music is still in beta, so if you're looking to download it you will first have to sign up for BlackBerry Beta Zone and then wait for your invite. I'd suggest doing this now, if you're interested; it's still free while in beta. Thanks for sending this in to us Emkwan!

to bad i missed the party !
What was that accent?
French?
It seemed to cycle between Londoner, French and Dutch. LOL
I could hardly understand half of what he said.
Not a bad demo. Not real good pictures of the screen and I wish he'd addressed the swap feature.
11 Million track and yet I can't seem to ever find the songs I want because they arnt probably as well 'known'.
LOVED bbm music for the first week but now like I said I can't ever find the stuff I want so stopped using it :)
Not to sound like a Debbie downer but that video was blurry as heck. Not much point putting it in 720p if you get HD blur.
And yeah, he sounds French and apparently been living in the UK for a while :D
Aside from that, i really like this idea. I just wouldn't like to pay $5 a month unless i had a bunch of people on BBM. As it stands i have barely anyone :( (iPhone has taken over Oz... le siiigh)
@Harold you don't need BBM contacts to share. One feature that I think seriously needs to be added is the ability to preview a ptential contact's library and playlists before accepting.
The stupid thing about this is it doesn't allow for integration with your current media, i would have loved to have seen it setup your profile based upon the top 50 listened tracks in your media, i mean who wants to sift through another catalogue looking for music when you already have the music that you listen to on your device, i get that its trying to be social but im just not sure that anybody is actually going to spend the time to use the app. they would have been far better off just creating a profile based on your current media and then when you play a song it alerts your contacts giving them the option to listen to a snippet or the whole song, a snippet if it inst on the blackberry catalogue or the whole song if it is, thus avoiding copyright issues.
wish i could find what i was looking for in the proclaimed "11 million song catalog" but i can't! Honestly not a very good song collection at least for my taste! Anyone else have trouble finding what they want?
I like when he says "[for the home page] it looks like facebook's wall, but called a timeline". And of course FB announces timeline today.
This looks to be a great app coming from Rim. It's very unique and shows that rim i down for the count yet and it also can be used as a marketing strategy for people to go and buy BB
