One of my most used app on BlackBerry 10 recently received an update and today we take a closer look at the newest features. If you didn't know already, [Work Wide is an app that allows you to have two apps on the screen side-by-side. You can take a look at our original review to see how the app works. WorkWide was initially made for the BlackBerry Passport due to its nice wide screen but the developer did eventually make it available for all BlackBerry 10 smartphones.
Work Wide essentially allows you to have two apps running side by side. It's limited to certain apps but it has proven to be a very useful app, at least for me. Very handy for when I need to refer to an article when posting something to BBM Channels. As a reminder, the latest release brings us to version 1.3 and the biggest new feature is integration with third party Twitter client -- Blaq. There are also enhancements to the browser app and the option for a second picture app so you can view two pictures side-by-side. Of course, there are bug fixes and tweaks in there too.
Have a watch at our hands-on with the latest features of Work Wide. For a look at all the features you can check out our first review.
Work Wide is available for all BlackBerry 10 smartphones and costs $3.99. If have already purchased the app, updates are free.
Please note: this is a hands-on with the latest update that came out on Friday 8th May, not another update.
