Deal-of-the-day provider Groupon has just released an application to help out BlackBerry users. Available in the US and Canada, the Groupon app allows you to find local deals and display coupons right on your device. Use the app to display local deals, then bring up the coupon to show to the retailer. You'll never have to print another coupon again to snag a deal. Groupon for BlackBerry is totally free and is available in BlackBerry App World.

Worthless app. Server is busy and can't connect. My city isn't even on the list.

The Groupon app you've had (I have had it as well) was by a third-party vendor. This one is an official app and, at first glance, appears to be much more full-featured and polished.

It works just fine on my Torch and my city isn't listed but the largest city nearby is listed. I've noticed Daily Deals for Pensacola are showing, but local deals show when I click Nearby Deals as well. I'm gonna hold on to this one for a while. i think it may turn out to be worth it if a good deal or two pops up in the next couple of weeks. Oh, and the push notifications work great! I recieved one this morning just after downloading.
